If corporations are people, then the insurance companies who deny coverage for life-saving procedures should be indicted for murder and receive capital punishment.
Actually, legally, corporations ARE people, thanks to a US Supreme Court decision of the late 19th century. Legally, in the US, property rights have greater legal protections than human rights.
When you consider the immense wealth of many corporations, you can see why the political field favors the wealthy.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but Romney is technically correct in a legal sense, although totally morally abhorrent.
