TRENTON — With higher property taxes likely on their way, Gov. Chris Christie attacked Democratic leaders in the Legislature, in particular the Assembly, for not moving faster toward passing his series of reform proposals....
Democratic Assembly Budget Committee Chairman Lou Greenwald, D-Camden, said the Assembly members have been meeting with groups to discuss the ideas. He said reaction to many of them has been unenthusiastic.
"I haven't been traveling around the country like the governor has. I'm here working," Greenwald said, referring to Christie's campaigning on behalf of Republicans nationwide. "What we've heard is that the toolkit is a lot of noise, and a lot of hot air."That wasn't so hard, was it?
