I think this is just absolutely beautiful:
Lyle Mays is one of my unsung heroes. He has tremendous taste, but when he needs to pull out the stops and blow, he can just let lose. He was in Pat Metheny's shadow for all those years, kind of like Scotty Pippin to Michael Jordon. But anything this guy does is always worth a listen.
