Crazy Uncle Paul

I call Mulshine "Crazy Uncle Paul" because, like many of my favorite uncles, he can be brilliant one minute and totally insane the next.

Today is mostly a good day:
Christie went to Iowa recently during yet another of his campaign swings, this time for another GOP gubernatorial contender, Terry Branstad. Branstad had been slamming his Democratic opponent for excessive borrowing, but some alert reporter noted that Christie's borrowing here inJersey made that Democrat look like a conservative by comparison. Back in April, Christie borrowed an additional $750 million for school construction, breaking a pledge not to bond without voter approval.
Mulshine is one of the few pundits in the state who is holding Christie to account for what he said in the campaign. Of course, supporting Steve Lonnegan and calling Christie a "liberal" is koo-koo for Cocoa Puffs...

I also have to take exception to this:
But there's nothing that tea-party members hate more than deficit spending.
