Sure, you'll make less than you could in the private sector. Your wages won't keep pace with the average worker in the state.
Your pension and health care can be taken away from you at any minute. All the promises politicians make to you will be broken whenever they feel like breaking them.
You'll be vilified by the governor. By the press. By idiots on talk radio. You'll feel like dirt. Especially if you're a woman.
But, on the upside...
