Perhaps, governor, you should spend a little less time having photo ops at schools and
more time actually making a budget:
Gov. Chris Christie’s administration still hasn’t released a full copy of its budget proposal, more than three weeks after the budget speech. Portions of the detailed budget were finally put online in the last 24 hours. Most years, it’s been public for about a week by now — and given that the budget presentation was three weeks later than usual, as a nod to the schedule of the incoming administration, budget analysts are nearly a month behind in their work...
“The details of this budget have become available at a slower pace, with less elaboration and much later than in any previous year,” Rosen said. “The delays have been extraordinary, beyond what I would have expected,” Rosen said.
Again, more evidence that
they are just throwing anything out there and seeing what flies, regardless of whether it makes sense.
